If you’re still wondering what to get that special someone in your life, then consider jewelry as the way to go. Now you don’t have to spend a lot to get pieces that look great. In fact, you can scoop up many different Cubic Zirconia looks and still have money left over to pick up something for you.
Here are some of the hottest Cubic Zirconia trends of the season:
Bold earrings – If you weren’t a fan of statement necklaces, try statement earrings instead. With clusters of gems, fringes full or rhinestones and drops filled with dazzle, Cubic Zirconia clip on earrings are every girl’s new best friend.
Unique necklaces – The new “it” Cubic Zirconia necklaces are those that use interesting materials in the setting. From fabric necklaces made from denim to bib style necklaces on a piece of lace mesh to pieces of ribbon dripping with stones, it’s all about showing your personal sense of style.
Cuff bracelets – These fashion classics are must-have accessories that can be worn with everything in your closet from dresses to sweaters. Now what other piece can be that versatile? Choose from bold Mediterranean inspired armbands to rocker chic duds in oxidized metals. Cuffs are fun, fierce and here to stay.
Fabulously flirty cocktail rings – Somewhat trendy but totally fun, Cubic Zirconia cocktail rings are the perfect go-to-gift for fashionistas of every age. Choose one with a large center stone or a cluster of pave set sparklers.
Jewelry sets – Every woman likes to look pulled together and polished, and Cubic Zirconia jewelry sets are a great way to accomplish that. Scoop up a necklace and matching pair of earrings for your mom, grandmother, granddaughter, sister or aunt. Or, if you’re really on a budget, give the necklace to one person, and the earrings to another.
Fine me more at my blog Fine Living, and if you are a big fan of cubic zirconia jewelry you could land on the blog to find what you want.

If you were thinking about selling your old gold jewelry, stop and think again! Don’t sell that beautiful gold because guess what! Gold jewelry is back in a big way! While sterling silver certainly seems to have overtaken yellow gold in popularity these past few years, gold is actually still very much in style and just as fabulous as ever. However, there are some important Do’s and Don’ts for wearing gold jewelry and some ways to optimize your look using gold accents. The best thing about gold is that it makes a much stronger statement than silver does because of the way it contrasts against the colors of the clothes you are wearing. Silver is a lot more neutral than yellow gold and therefore sometimes has the tendency to fade into the background. Gold jewelry is usually right up there in the foreground making a scene.
Gold necklaces, bracelets, and earrings look great with emeralds, blacks, and blues. Be careful when wearing gold on yellow. I almost never wear gold and yellow together because the combination is really hard to get right. Gold on yellow doesn’t provide a whole lot of contrast and usually ends up looking very cheap which is the opposite of what you want to accomplish. Try wearing prints with gold, but nothing too wild. A geometric print utilizing two colors looks really nice with gold. Try emerald and cream prints or a black and cream print with your fabulous gold jewelry. Gold even looks great with teal! Lately, even celebrities are donning gold jewelry from golden cuffs to golden hoops and golden cocktail rings.
One commonly accepted rule for wearing gold is that you should not mix wearing gold and silver. at the same time. While this rule is true in most cases, there are a few exceptions to the rule. Personally, I wouldn’t wear a sterling silver necklace and pair it with gold earrings. That wouldn’t make sense. However, there are ways around this rule. Take stacking bracelets. If you get gold wit the right coloring, it can look really great mixed with other metals like silver or bronze. Just make sure your layered look of mixed metals doesn’t look tacky. You cannot force this look. If you are not sure, just stick with one type of metal and don’t worry about mixing your gold jewelry with anything else.
Some people also tend to layer too much when they wear gold jewelry. You do not need 10 gold necklaces, gold hoops, gold rings, and an armful of gold bracelets. A healthy amount of layering is very trendy and in, but if you wear a bunch of bracelets, don’t overpower the look with a huge gold ring. The same goes for necklaces. If you layer a few gold necklaces, don’t wear huge gold chandelier earrings. Keep it simple and keep it classy and you won’t go wrong wearing gold jewelry this holiday season.

I recently talked about the dos and don’ts of layering and mixing bracelets, but sometimes it’s nice to have just one single bracelet that does all the work of twenty. If one bracelet is unique and exciting enough, it may be all you need as an accessory. Many celebrities are known for trying some of the wackiest and weirdest of trends. Some of the time they get ridiculed for their choices but once in a while they end up making a really unique choice that really makes a positive statement. One fairly recent trend among Hollywood starlets is animal themed jewelry, and in particular, snake themed jewelry.
From snake necklaces to snake rings and bracelets, all have been seen among Hollywood’s biggest stars including Paris Hilton, Lindsay Lohan, and Dita Von Teese. Animal themed jewelry can add a bit of fun and excitement to an otherwise drab ensemble. Wear a classic black dress and a studded snake cuff and you are sure to look amazing! Or you can even try a low cut black top with a snake pendant necklace. I really like the idea of black and snake jewelry because of the overall feeling the look gives off. The look is one of mystery and danger—which can be quite alluring. If you want to go a different route, buy a more colorful snake jewelry piece and pair it with bright colors. A red dress with a multicolored snake cuff can make a very bold statement that is quite different than the black and dark snake ensemble, but still holds power.
Bracelets are really fun to wear as I talked about in a previous article. When layering bracelets, one should really pay attention to the accompanying jewelry. Same goes for bold cuffs or something a little different like a snake bracelet. Pair the snake bracelet with studs or small hoops—and either no necklace, or a simple necklace. Have a blast embracing new jewelry trends that you never thought you would—like a snake bracelet or cuff!

Page through any major fashion magazine and you’ll be sure to see bracelets being stacked, mixed and matched, layered and piled on in excess. Bracelets are being worn as a statement accessory with looks for both day and night this season. We take a look at some of the top fashion trends and how to work them with your wardrobe.
Stacking – Now, it’s the norm to wear a bunch at one time, since bangle bracelets have sky rocketed in popularity over the past year. Whether you have 20 thin bracelets or a handful or bracelets of varying width, wear them whenever you would like to take it up a notch. To save this style for after work or weekend wear is our best tip, because these accessories might get in the way.
Mix and match – It’s perfectly acceptable to rock bracelets of varying size, color, shape and material. In fact, it’s highly encouraged this year. Fashionistas everywhere are taking this opportunity to purchase a few key pieces and mix them with fashion bracelets from their existing jewelry box. Gold and silver are being worn to create a modern take on these classic accessories, they look great together. To make such look work for you, start with your favorite bracelets – ones that you wear everyday. Add a dangly charming bracelet, bracelets with unique materials like leather or a pop of color or cord. You might have to play around until you find a comfortable combination that works for you.
Double trouble – Celebrities have recently been spotted rocking bracelets on both wrists. Not just understated bracelets, but full on armfuls of bangles and chunky cuffs. They are piling them on to make more of an impact and create a look-at-me effect for cocktail dresses and jeans alike. To have cut outs in the form of a scrolling design will keep the look from appearing too heavy.

Bracelets can be a fun way to infuse some style into an outfit. They are universally flattering, ageless and very often, able to be carried over from season to season. Bracelets are a great way to set the vibe for your look and to accessorize without spending a fortune. Here are some tips for the types of bracelets that go best with each sleeve length.
Sleeveless tops, sheaths and T-shirts – This is your chance to break out of your shell and go for statement bracelets that are painted, embellished or sparkly. You can find beautiful resin and crystal bracelets this season, or thick cuffs that will look great when worn on either arm.
Blouses, 3/4 length sweaters and rolled boyfriend blazers – This is the perfect opportunity to wear fun bracelets, as the attention will be on your wrists. Choose several bangle bracelets with a shiny finish, or go for colored enamel, chunky charm or coin-looking bracelets that will help to complete your look. This is another sleeve length where you can get away with stacking bracelets on either arm, so have fun with it!
Long sleeve sweaters, cardigans and coats – Classic metal bracelets in gold tone or sterling silver work well with long sleeves. You want to still look like you are making an effort, but you don’t want the look to feel forced. Stay away from chunky cuff bracelets that might get lost under your sweater, and instead, opt for flexible metal pieces that flow.
Any bracelets that you buy for fall or winter can easily be converted to spring fashion. Gold and jewel tone colors like teal were big on the runways for the Spring 2010 shows, as were large bracelets and cuffs, especially those with a Mediterranean influence. The only thing that might be good to stay away from are bracelets that you are uncertain about. If you’re only going to wear it one time, then it’s probably not a good investment.
